Local sources in Logar report that flooding in the province has caused significant financial losses.
On Saturday, June 28, 2025, sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily that the flood occurred following heavy rainfall the previous night.
The sources further stated that the flood destroyed thousands of acres of agricultural land, hundreds of homes, electrical infrastructure, and major roads.
The previous day, flooding in Khost province claimed one life and caused substantial financial damage.
