He condemned any planning to turn Afghanistan into a proxy battlefield and the cultivation of extremist and terrorist groups, calling it a move that is contrary to humanitarian principles, Islamic values and international standards.
Mr. Noor noted that no justification should justify the killing of innocent people and the violation of the country’s national sovereignty because of the Taliban’s mistakes, as the Afghan people have been victims of war, extremism and wrong policies for more than four decades and should no longer pay the price for the rivalries and goals of others.
He has not provided any evidence in this regard. Earlier, the Taliban claimed that Pakistan was seeking to strengthen and support ISIS in Afghanistan.
The political figure said that part of the grounds for the formation of this critical situation is the direct result of incorrect policies, monopolistic approaches, and the Taliban’s negligence, adding that the continued monopoly of power, depriving the people of their fundamental rights, and ignoring the need for national dialogue have exposed the country to deeper crises.
Strongly criticizing the Taliban, he pointed out that instead of understanding the realities of society and accepting the principle of dialogue to resolve crises peacefully, the group has a booty view of power, holds the people hostage, and its approach is only to rely on force, imposing and eliminating others.
Stating that the Taliban only understand the language of force and guns, he said experience has shown that it is difficult or even impossible to explain the facts to the group.
Explaining the official position of the Jamiat-e-Islami of Afghanistan, Atta Mohammad Noor announced that this movement will not participate in any proxy war and rejects any foreign interference and bargaining on national sovereignty.
